The motorcyclist, a 27-year-old man from Genzano, sustained serious injuries and was ejected from the motorcycle onto the road following the collision. He received immediate assistance from bystanders and was subsequently attended to by an ambulance from the emergency medical service (118) before being transported to the emergency department of Castelli Hospital as a critically injured trauma patient. The on-site investigation was carried out by officers from the Genzano Police Headquarters. The hospitalisation of the motorcyclist was classified as a top-tier emergency. The collision resulted in a significant disruption to traffic in the vicinity, resulting in temporary road closures. Local authorities in Genzano advised motorists to seek alternative routes until the accident scene was cleared.
